On the afternoon of January 7, the School of International Education held the final general meeting for all international students in Room 301, Jinghui Building. Members of the college’s student management team and all on-campus international students attended the meeting.

Zhang Min, Deputy Secretary of the General Party Branch of the School of International Education, comprehensively reviewed the remarkable achievements of international students in academics, cultural exchanges and campus activities throughout this semester. She spoke highly of students’ efforts and growth, and offered sincere criticism and suggestions regarding deficiencies in daily code of conduct. Meanwhile, she emphasized the discipline and importance of final examinations, reminding international students to take exams with integrity, demonstrate their real academic performance and take responsibility for their studies. In addition, she arranged detailed arrangements for holiday safety, covering dormitory management regulations, outing registration procedures and emergency response measures, to ensure all international students spend a safe and pleasant winter vacation.

In the subsequent communication session, head teachers and counselors patiently addressed the difficulties and problems encountered by international students in study and daily life, including questions on specialized courses, bottlenecks in language learning, HSK examinations and winter vacation leave procedures.

At the end of the meeting, all international students signed the safety commitment letter for staying on campus during the winter vacation. This final general meeting serves not only as a summary of the semester and a outlook for the future, but also as a bridge for close communication between the college and international students. It helped students clarify their responsibilities and missions, and made them feel the college’s sincere care and expectations, laying a solid foundation for campus safety and stability.
