To further strengthen international students’ safety awareness and improve their ability to respond to emergencies, the School of International Education and the Logistics & Security Office jointly organized a comprehensive safety training for all on-campus international students at the University Student Activity Center on the afternoon of November 13. All teachers of the international student management team, professional staff from the Logistics & Security Office, and every international student on campus attended the event.
The training featured rich content and diverse forms, including anti-riot drills, fire safety lectures and first-aid operations. Through on-site demonstrations and interactive teaching, instructors explained in detail self-protection methods in emergencies, the proper use of fire-fighting equipment, and basic first-aid measures. The training helped international students master self-rescue and mutual-rescue skills, and enhanced their practical operation and emergency response capabilities.
At the end of the activity, Zhang Min, Deputy Secretary of the General Party Branch of the School of International Education, addressed specific issues in recent student management work. She emphasized that no safety matter is trivial, and reminded all international students to keep the training knowledge in mind. She urged them to guard against fires, theft and fraud in daily life, raise awareness of personal safety, and eliminate potential hazards at an early stage. The college will continue to normalize and institutionalize safety education, so as to create a safer and more stable environment for international students to study and live in China.
