On January 20, the campus was wrapped in snow, presenting a quiet and picturesque scenery. To help international students experience the unique charm of snow scenery up close and enrich their campus cultural life, the School of International Education specially organized a snow viewing activity. Led by counselors and head teachers, international students from Laos, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Tajikistan and other countries wandered around the snow-covered campus and felt the unique warmth of winter.
Despite the low temperature, all participants were in high spirits. For many students, it was their first time to see and touch snow in person, with excitement and curiosity shining on their faces. Under the careful guidance of teachers, the group walked slowly along the main campus landscape routes. International students stopped from time to time to record the beautiful snow views with their phones. During the activity, teachers introduced campus buildings and snow features along the way, while reminding everyone to keep warm and pay attention to safety. Several students from tropical countries were particularly thrilled. While making snowballs, they shared their feelings, saying, “This is the first time I have touched real snow. It is as cold as I imagined.”
For international students staying on campus during the winter vacation, the School of International Education has continuously arranged various cultural experience activities to enrich their holiday life and deliver sincere care. Snow falls silently, and friendship lasts long. This simple snow-walking tour has become an unforgettable cross-cultural memory and added a pure and bright touch to their overseas study experience.
