Spring is mild and bright with all things reviving. On the afternoon of March 25, the Chinese Language Curriculum Center successfully held the Chinese Bridge activity themed Spring Outing for Beauty. Led by teachers Wu Xueyuan and Chen Yang, international students wandered in the beautiful spring scenery to experience the charm of the Chinese language and the beauty of traditional Chinese culture amid fresh plants and fragrance.

The activity venue was covered with blooming flowers and lush greenery. Along the way, the two teachers introduced various plants, including graceful crabapples, pure and elegant magnolias, budding willow branches and tender peach blossoms. While walking, they elaborated on the Chinese names and morphological features of these flowers. Combined with classic ancient poems and traditional spring customs, they vividly interpreted the cultural imagery behind each plant. The gentleness of crabapples, nobility of magnolias and vividness of peach blossoms became vivid and tangible through detailed explanation.

The international students listened attentively throughout the activity, took the initiative to ask questions in Chinese from time to time, and shared their views on spring scenery. The whole interaction was relaxed and enthusiastic. Amid blooming flowers and dense shade, everyone stopped to admire the scenery and take photos to record beautiful moments. With immersive experience, they deepened their understanding and memorization of Chinese vocabulary.

This Chinese Bridge activity deeply integrated language learning with natural experience and cultural communication. It helped international students relax themselves and enhance friendship while getting close to nature. Meanwhile, it built an immersive platform for language practice and cultural perception, allowing international students to feel the vividness of Chinese in real scenes and appreciate the profound heritage of traditional Chinese culture through interaction, further narrowing the distance for Sino‑cultural exchanges.
