Objective of the Program
This program aims to train students with applied skills and technology in the field of marine engineering including operation, management and maintenance of marine equipment .awareness and actions of marine pollution prevention, response abilities in the event of emergency, who can serve ocean-going ships of well-known shipping companies all over the globe.

Core Professional Skills
1. Acquiring basic knowledge of ship safety, first aid, ship security and professional skills of fire-fighting, operation of life saving boats and rafts, lathing, bench work and welding.
2. Acquiring abilities of maintaining, operating, managing marine mechanical and electrical equipment and response actions under emergency situations. Acquiring awareness of ship safety and pollution prevention and abilities of listening, speaking, reading comprehension and correspondence writing in English-speaking working environment.
3. Acquiring awareness of ensuring safety at sea, avoidance of casualty and damage to marine environment and property. Acquiring qualifications and capabilities required by 4th engineer on board the ship.
