In order to enhance our students' recognition of Chinese traditional culture and enhance their understanding of traditional ceramic skills, on the afternoon of September 29, the International students of the School of International Education entered Gaochun National Porcelain Town to have a unique ceramic culture experience.
They first visited Gaochun Ceramic Museum, where they appreciated the Chinese historical ceramics and learned about the development history of eight famous kilns. The exquisite skills, excellent quality, unique technology and long culture have amazed all of them. Then, in Gaochun International Ceramic Workshop, under the guidance of the workshop staff and teachers, the students began the ceramic experience activity—throwing, which filled them with great interest and excitement.
This activity has played a very important role in stimulating foreign students to love China's intangible cultural heritage and establish their awareness of consciously promoting Chinese traditional culture.
